The essentials
- Ask for the complete customer and order workflow, not just a payment demo.
- Check account ownership, branding, totals, order sync, tracking, and support.
- Compare what is available today with your store requirements before subscribing.
If you are looking for Whop checkout for Shopify, you probably already know which storefront you want to keep and which payment service you want to use. The decision is how to connect them without introducing manual work or confusion for your customers.
Use this checklist to evaluate Paybridge, another integration, or a custom build. It focuses on observable behavior you can review, instead of claims about guaranteed acceptance, conversion lifts, or payouts.
Start with eligibility and account ownership
Confirm that your business and products are eligible for the services involved. An integration cannot make that decision for your payment provider. Be clear about which account receives payments and who controls access to it.
Paybridge connects your own Whop business to your Shopify store. It currently serves US businesses. Your Whop account remains the place where the payment-provider relationship lives; Paybridge supplies the checkout connection and order syncing.
Review the purchase journey on a phone
Open a real product page, choose a variant, change the quantity, and continue from the cart. The next page should preserve the purchase clearly. Check that a customer can recognize the store, review the amount, and find the policies before paying.
A custom checkout domain can help make that transition consistent with your brand. Check that the address has valid HTTPS and that it serves the correct store's checkout. Do not judge the integration only by a desktop screenshot.
Paybridge supports your logo, checkout colors, policies, and a verified checkout domain. Its checkout is designed for mobile and desktop, but your own store content and configured payment methods should still be reviewed on both.
Check the details behind the total
Use the kinds of carts your store actually sells. A single product at full price is a useful starting point, but it does not cover every important case.
- Add multiple variants and confirm quantities carry through.
- Apply a supported discount and inspect the resulting total.
- Check shipping to destinations you actually serve.
- Confirm taxes and the charged amount for the configured checkout.
- Review the customer contact and delivery fields used for fulfillment.
Treat unusual bundles, subscriptions, checkout extensions, and specialized promotions as explicit compatibility questions. Paybridge's store subscription-selling feature is coming soon; it should not be counted as a live capability when choosing a plan today.
Verify a paid Shopify order, not just a successful payment
After a successful test purchase, inspect both the payment and the Shopify order. Confirm the items, customer, shipping details, and amount. Ask how the system identifies a pending sync and how your team can tell when an order needs attention.
Paybridge links a confirmed Whop payment to its checkout and syncs the paid order into Shopify. Its dashboard exposes the sync status. That distinction helps you avoid assuming that a missing Shopify order means the customer needs to pay a second time.
If evaluating a custom integration, ask who is responsible for investigating failed synchronization and maintaining the connection when providers change. The work continues after a payment form is first installed.
Keep tracking and support understandable
Decide which system sends storefront events and which sends checkout events. Validate your important events rather than pasting the same tracking setup everywhere and hoping the totals match. Multiple purchase reports for one sale can make performance look better than it is.
Also ask where your team handles a payment question, a fulfillment issue, and a sync problem. Those are related but different jobs. A useful setup makes the responsible system clear enough for a support person to find the relevant record.
In Paybridge, checkout pixel tracking settings sit with your store preferences. Shopify remains the storefront and fulfillment system, while Whop handles payments. Review the configuration with a controlled test before relying on it for campaign measurement.
Compare the complete cost and current feature set
Include the software subscription, payment-provider charges, Shopify costs, and any applicable extra fees. Check whether additional stores change the subscription cost. Review the cancellation and refund policies before buying, especially if you are choosing annual billing.
Paybridge is $69.99 per month or $672 per year, with unlimited connected stores on either plan. The annual price is equivalent to $56 per month, billed yearly. Whop processing charges and your Shopify subscription are separate.
For a direct comparison, write down the features your business needs now. Do not give an unfinished roadmap feature the same weight as something you can test today. See Paybridge pricing and the service policies for the current offer.
Make the choice around the order workflow
The right integration should make the complete purchase understandable: the customer buys from your store, the payment reaches the right business, and a usable order reaches fulfillment.

Your products. Your theme. Your brand.Common questions
Can I compare Paybridge with a custom-built checkout?
Yes. Compare the same end-to-end flow, ongoing maintenance, order-sync visibility, compatibility with your store, and complete cost. A custom payment form and a maintained checkout integration are different scopes.
Are subscriptions available for my store today?
Paybridge customer subscription-selling tools are coming soon. This is separate from the monthly or annual subscription you pay to use Paybridge.
Does a branded domain guarantee better conversion?
No conversion rate is guaranteed. A consistent domain and design can make the journey easier to recognize, but you should measure performance using your actual traffic and correctly configured events.
Does Paybridge charge for each connected store?
Both current Paybridge plans include unlimited connected stores. Each store still needs its own eligible connections and configuration, and provider costs remain separate.
